National Training Workshop on the use of HOMER software - Kumasi, Ghana

NB: For logistical reasons, the training that was previously schedule to take place from 24 to 25 June, has been postponed to 13-14 August 2014

 

The Energy Center (TEC), KNUST and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) are organising a two-day training on the use of HOMER software for RE project design, from 13 to 14 August in Kumasi, Ghana.

The training will use theoretical concepts, simulations and practical exercises about existing and planned projects in order to prepare the participants in the use of HOMER.

The interested candidates may submit their application and answer the online questionnaire* by clicking in this link, until 31st July.

* in order to answer the questionnaire, it is recommended that the candidates read the document "General Introduction to the Training", here attached. They should also watch the SMA video and read the reference documents indicated. The questionnaire is optional, but may be used in the case of a tie-breaker.
